Bamberton Development Corporation held a topping-off ceremony for the Bamberton Center entitled Seismic Shift: A Sound Investment on March 9, 2023, at Arca South, Taguig City.
The topping-off ceremony is a cherished tradition among builders, particularly in vertical construction works, celebrating the completion of the building's structure –– signifying that the highest structural point of construction has been achieved.
The event commenced on the 18th floor, led by Donway Sy (Director, Bamberton Development Corp.), and then moved to Basement 1 to showcase the building's base isolation system. This included an introduction to Quakesafe Phils, Inc., the sister company dedicated to promoting seismic isolation solutions to mitigate the impacts of severe earthquakes. The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Dioceldo Sy (CEO & Founder, Ever Bilena Cosmetics Inc.).
Notably, March 9, 2023, coincided with the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
